Set in the corner unit of a large shophouse delightfully coloured in a pale spring green is the brainchild of Joyce Odom. Speakeasy exudes effortless charm - a mish-mash of furniture, Production-era cocktails and a wine list full of intriguing tipples.
You would be forgiven for not knowing that there's a gallery space upstairs showcasing some of Singapore's burgeoning talents from painters to photographers. The space is perfect for some moments of quiet reflection away from the bar downstairs and a place to find some real gems.
Highs: Combining art, booze and cuisine. Simple as A, B, C.
Lows: I've heard rumours of lock-ins from 10.30 pm upstairs, but where's my invitation?
