Starting this weekend for the month of October, bring your kids and join our team at a series of free workshops at the ArtScience Museum - Everyone Can Create: Clean Seas.

Using the Everyone Can Create curriculum from Apple, you will explore photography, drawing, video and music to express your ideas. Play around with your creations, transform them from 2D to 3D, using AR Makr for iPad - a creative toolbox for augmented reality - and place them in the real world before sharing with your friends to spread the global movement to beat plastic pollution and create clean seas for future generations.

An estimated 1.15 to 2.41 million tonnes of plastic are entering the ocean each year and affecting life under the sea. A cleaner ocean is not only a fundamental right, but it is also a universal responsibility to reduce how much waste we produce. Not everyone can change their circumstances, but if those of us who can, do, we can become part of the solution rather than part of the problem. Let's do our part in supporting the movement on #CleanSeas for our future generations.

The Clean Seas movement targets #12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) and #14 (Life below water) of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
