MeshMinds is excited to feature the Virtual Reality (VR) game, Water Bodies, at the Singapore Maritime Gallery! The showcase is free for admission and open to the public from 9am to 6pm on Thursday, 20 June.

Created by Adeline Tan, Water Bodies is an interactive, virtual reality installation that highlights the encroaching presence of microplastics in our drinking water. It explores a virtual human stomach swarming with brightly coloured microplastics, and participants are encouraged to shoot down these fragments of microplastics within a one-minute timer. The game hopes to raise awareness on microplastic pollution that exists not just in our oceans but in our bodies as well.

The Singapore Maritime Gallery showcases the diversity and vibrancy of Maritime Singapore and the collective efforts towards clean and sustainable shipping. The gallery features interactive exhibits to educate the public about Singapore’s maritime history, alongside stories about the maritime ecosystem that led to our growth and strategy for the future, and the part Singaporeans play in preserving the marine biodiversity and ecosystem.

Come drop by the Singapore Maritime Gallery and have a go at Water Bodies!

The Singapore Maritime Gallery is located at:
31 Marina Coastal Drive
Marina South Pier, Level 2,
Singapore 018988
