Experience the immersive worlds of Aquasia and Geylang Crunk in VR and AR!

Embark on a mesmerising virtual reality (VR) journey to Aquasia, the world's first educational metaworld set in a floating city in Asia. This imaginary marine utopia aims to raise awareness about rising sea levels while showcasing groundbreaking technologies that reimagine food, energy, and transportation systems capable of sustaining life on our Blue Planet.
Featured artists: Andre Wee, Carla Chan, Chan Wan Kyn, Jamela Law, Natalie Wong and Viraag Desai.

Dive into a groundbreaking immersive music virtual reality (VR) experience produced by Metamo Industries to address the lack of Asian representation in immersive media. This innovative project takes participants on a rollercoaster ride through the futuristic city-state of Neo-Santara in 2065, featuring collaborations with regional musicians and artists.

The VR gallery will be closed from 11.30am-1.30pm and the last session for each day will be 6pm.

Explore the fascinating world of hydroponics and aquaponics by managing your own vertical farm in Singapore. Collaborate with a community of like-minded farmers, using innovative techniques to grow crops without soil, convert food waste into fertiliser, and unlock the potential of sustainable food production.

Films for People and Planet

ArtScience Cinema, Level 4

Immerse yourself in a curated showcase of short films that confront the triple planetary threat of climate change, pollution, and biodiversity loss. These powerful narratives aim to inspire collective action
and shed light on the urgent need to protect our planet's precious resources.

These short films will be screened every day apart from 8, 9, 16 & 22 September, courtesy of MeshMinds, Metamo Industries, Studio Birthplace and Nanyang Technological University, School of Art, Design and Media and Akeroyd Collection. Films will be screened on a loop between 10 am - 7 pm in the ArtScience Cinema.
